The attached document was developed into a Word document from the information gathered over several years along with a Proposal for writing our own History.
We are now in our 65th year of Affiliation with the Point Danger branch and Surf Life Saving Australia with two affiliations in 1959 with the Group from December 1959, a new group of members who established the Club on an ongoing basis, there is compelling evidence to support this statement.
Many references are in previous posts
- Our Club is not the first to have a few beginnings but in our case, this needs to be addressed and the correct History recorded.
- This subject has seen long debate but no action.
